JKSSB: Important Instructions for candidates appearing in CBT For Sub-Inspector, Assistant Compiler and Other Posts

Instructions for candidates appearing in Computer Based Test (CBT) scheduled to be held from 28th March, 2021 to 4th April, 2021 for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Commercial Taxes (State Taxes Department), Assistant Compiler, Field Assistant III, Field Supervisor Mushroom, Assistant Store Keeper, Divisional Cadre Kashmir, Item No 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 (03 of 2020) and Depot Assistant and Class-IV, District Cadres Srinagar, Budgam, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag, Item Nos 26 to 45 (03 of 2020) respectively- regarding

Candidates will be allowed to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:

  • Admit Card & ID Card
  • Transparent water bottle.
  • Hand sanitizers
  • Pencil/ Pen for rough work.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
  • Candidates are advised to report one hour before the commencement of the examination.
  • No candidate will be allowed entry in the Examination Centre after start of examination.
  • Candidate to carry any one Original photo ID (PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving
    Licence, ID issued by the Institutions/Govt Departments) in addition to the admit card.
  • Only writing material such as pen and pencil will be allowed inside the examination Centre
  • PWD candidates will be given preference during entry/exit and will be assigned systems
    in the lower floor to the extent possible.
  • Candidates will be provided with the paper for rough work in the examination hall.

The J&K SSB or functionaries deployed for conduct of Examination shall be authorised to take disciplinary action which may include debarment, criminal proceedings, etc. against any candidate for following reasons.

  • Creating disturbance.
  • Impersonation.
  • Attempting to tamper with the computer system – either hardware or software.
  • Unfair means
  • Use of calculators, pagers, mobile phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other electronic equipment etc.

KINDLY NOTE: 
  • The Computer Based Test examination shall comprise of 120 MCQs.
  • The duration of the Computer Based Test examination shall be 120 minutes
  • There shall be negative marking and 0.25 (1/4) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • No breaks are permitted during the Computer Based Test examination.
