JKBOSE: Tagging of Private School Students With Nearby Government High/ Higher Secondary Schools

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has initiated the Tagging of the on-roll students of Private Academic Institutions for the current Academic Session 2023-24 with the nearby Government High/ Higher Secondary Schools.

Upon the approval of the authorities the on-roll students of the private academic institutions of Jammu Division mentioned in the lists attached to this order as ‘Annexure-A’ and ‘Annexure-B’ are tagged to the nearest Government High & Higher Secondary Schools for the current academic session 2023-2024 with immediate effect for submitting the examination forms of class 10th, 11th and 12th as the case may be and for Renewal of Registration of class 11th & 12th wherever applicable for the current academic session 2023-2024 as per the details mentioned against each institution in the “Annexures’.

The heads of the Private academic institutions shall facilitate the concerned Government High & Higher Secondary Schools with the relevant documents of all the on- roll tagged students and the heads of the Government Schools shall submit the Renewal of Registration / Examination Forms of the students to JKBOSE along with the prescribed fee after authenticating the necessary discharge certificates/ marks certificates etc as the case be strictly as per the lists enclosed to complete the whole process within a week.

Besides, the private academic institutions listed in the said Annexures shall have to deposit tagging fee equivalent to the periodical Inspection fee (i.e Rs. 6000+GST for Higher Secondary Schools and Rs.5000+GST for High Schools) prescribed by the Director Academics J&K BOSE at the respective Sub/Branch/Divisional Office, JD within the stipulated time. They are also directed not to admit any student to 9th class and onwards for any Board examination till affiliation is granted by the JKBOSE.
