JKBOPEE: Conduct of Second Round of Counselling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Paramedical/B.Sc. Technology Courses
Conduct of Second Round of Physical Counselling for up-gradation /allotment of seats for admission to B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Paramedical/B.Sc. Technology Courses-2022 in the Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K.
Pursuant to Notification No. 086-BOPEE of 2O22 dated 19-11-2022, the shortfall of seats received from the Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K, it is hereby notified that the Board shall conduct the Second Round of (Physical) Counselling for Up-gradation/Allotment of seats for admission to B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Paramedical/B.Sc. Technology Courses-2022 in the Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K, as per the following schedule:- (DOWNLOAD BELOW NOTIFICATION FOR FULL DETAILS)
Candidates Not Eligible to participate in the Second Round of (Physical)Counselling:
i) The candidate(s) who have been allotted the Seat/College during first round of Online Counselling but have failed to join against the said seat;
ii) The candidate(s) who have cancelled (withdrawn) their admission after joining the College allotted to them in the first round of Online Counselling
Candidates Eligible to participate in the Second Round of (Physical) Counselling: –
i) The candidate(s) who have been allotted a seat in the first round of Online Counselling and have joined against the said seat;
ii) The candidate(s) who have not been allotted a seat due to C.N.A or S.N.A. in the first round of Online Counselling;
iii) The eligible candidate(s) who have missed the First Round of Online Counselling due to one or the other reason;
iv) The candidates of UT of Ladakh whose admissions were inadvertently made during First Round of Online Counselling in some Private Colleges and later on cancelled by the Board shall be eligible to participate in this round of (Physical) Counselling as a special case against the seats, if any, available in Government Colleges/Institutions under the category of STL/STK.
Important Instructions:-
i) The Board shall conduct the Counselling of all Reserved Category candidates on 12th & 14th of January, 2023 as per their Rank/Category as indicated in the above table. In case, any candidate who may not get seat in his/her relevant category, he/she shall be eligible to participate in the further Counselling as an Open Merit candidate.
ii) As provided under Section 9 (2) of J&K Reservation Act-2004, the seat(s) under Reserved Category, if any, that shall remain unfilled on 12th& 14thof January, 2023 due to non-availability of eligible candidates in the respective Reserved Categories, the Board shall convert those seat(s) into Open Merit and accordingly allot them to the eligible candidates of the Open Merit Category on the basis of merit-cumpreferences.
iii) Candidates reporting for Up-gradation are advised to bring along (admission) Fee deposit receipt of the concerned Institution/College for verification purpose.
iv) Candidates reporting for Counselling for the first time shall have to bring alongwith them all their relevant/requisite Certificates such as (Domicile Certificate, 12th Class Marks Card, D.O.B and Category Certificate, if any) for verification on the day/date of their Counselling. The candidates belonging to the CDP category are advised to bring along their CDP category Certificate indicating his/her Priority in the said Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on his/her day of Counselling.
v) The candidate(s) who are participating for the first time in the Counselling shall have to pay Counselling fee of Rs: 1000/= through POS Machines available in the BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu on the day / date of counselling before registration.
vi) Seat Matrix for Second Round of (Physical) Counselling shall be uploaded on the official website of BOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in) in due course of time before the date of Counselling and also on daily basis.
vii) The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Board for daily updates in this regard.
viii) The Board reserves the right to notify such changes as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control.
ix) In order to avoid unnecessary rush at BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar and inconvenience to the students, they are advised to take a conscious decision before leaving for the purpose of their participation in the counselling process by going through the seat matrix to be uploaded by the Board on its website on daily basis.
x) The counselling shall be stopped immediately after the seats are fully exhausted.The candidate(s) are therefore, advised not to wait or waste their time unnecessarily and shall leave the premises of the BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar accordingly.
xi) Mere Registration/Participation by the candidates in the counselling process shall not confer any right upon them to claim for a seat.
The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in the information Brochure / Notifications / Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
