J&K Home Department Orders Placement of Various Chief Prosecuting Officers as Deputy Directors
Subject: Placement of Chief Prosecuting Officers as Incharge Deputy Directors in Prosecution Department.
Government of Jammu and Kashmir Home Department, ordered Placement of Chief Prosecuting Officers as Incharge Deputy Directors in Prosecution Department.
Government Order No. 650- Home of 2023 Dated: 29.12.2023
According to an order, Sanction is hereby accorded to the placement of the following Chief Prosecuting Officers as Incharge Deputy Directors, in the Prosecution Department, in their own pay and grade, for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis on the recommendations of DPC/PSC, whichever is earlier:
- 1. Mr. Nazir Ahmed Naikoo
- 2. Mr. Harminder Singh
- 3. Mr. Kamal Sharma
- 4. Mr. Suresh Kumar
- 5. Mr. Prashant Mahajan
- 6. Mr. Aijaz Hussain
- 7. Mr. Javaid Ahamad Bhat
- 8. Mr. Davinder Paul Singh 9. Mr. Mohd. Maqbool Shah
- 10. Mr. Vikrant Sharma 11. Mr. Ashish Rathore
- 12. Mr. Gh. Jeelani Dar
The above arrangements are made purely in the interest of administration, on stop-gap basis, and shall not confer any preferential right on these officers for their promotion, which shall be made strictly in accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Prosecution Service Recruitment Rules 2020.
These placements shall also be without prejudice to the outcome of writ petition(s) pending before any Court/Tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
