J&K Govt Sanctions Deputation of 20 Officials for National Football Tournament in Goa
The General Administration Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued Government Order, allowing the deputation of 20 officials from various departments for the All India Civil Services Football Tournament 2024-25. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Goa from December 9 to 16, 2024, at venues including Tilak Maidan, Vasco, and DSYA Football Ground, Cansaulim.
Key Details of the Order:
Participants and Roles: The participants include employees from diverse departments such as Finance, Health & Family Welfare, Forest, Home, Higher Education, Agriculture Production, Tourism, Jal Shakti, and Youth Services & Sports. Their designations range from Deputy Directors and Administrative Officers to Teachers, Stenographers, and Assistants.
Financial Provisions: An advance amount of ₹2.50 lakh was sanctioned for related expenses such as travel, daily allowances (TA/DA), refreshments, and kit materials. This amount will be managed by Mr. Hilal Ahmad Wani, the Administrative Officer (Coach/Manager).
Responsibilities: The team manager must submit a detailed expenditure report upon return. The participants will perform their official duties online during the tournament period.
Relief from Departmental Duties: The participants will be relieved from their regular office responsibilities from December 6, 2024, to participate in the tournament.
