J&K Government Orders Regularization & Promotion of Employees – Check List

Jammu & Kashmir, Jal Shakti Department has issued Government Order for approving the regularization and promotion of Draftsmen, Works Supervisors, and Field Workers (Shift Attendants/Field Workers/Field Supervisors) to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) under the promotion quota. This decision follows the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held on February 7, 2025.

The promotions are carried out per the J&K Engineering (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, as notified in SRO 180 of 1997, and are based on available vacancies in pay level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).
