J&K Government Issues Advisory on Vehicle Entry and Parking During Budget Session 2025

Jammu and Kashmir’s General Administration Department has issued an advisory to regulate the entry and parking of vehicles at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, during the upcoming J&K Legislative Assembly Budget Session 2025.

According to the circular, no private vehicles of employees, including police personnel (security), will be allowed inside the Secretariat premises during the session. A designated parking area in the under-construction Assembly Complex will be available for Secretariat employees on a first-come, first-served basis. Other vehicles, including escort and media vehicles, must be parked in the specified area for Civil Secretariat employees.

All officers and officials have been urged to cooperate with the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) to ensure smooth regulation of vehicle movement and parking. Administrative Secretaries are also directed to inform employees in their respective departments for strict compliance.

The advisory aims to streamline parking arrangements and maintain security during the budget session.
