JK Government Approves Promotions of Senior JKPS Officers || Check Here

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued an order promoting five officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) to the rank of Super Time Scale-I (Level 13A in the pay matrix: ₹131,100-₹216,600). This decision, effective from December 24, 2024, was taken following recommendations by the Selection Committee-I as per the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules of 2024.

Promoted Officers:

• 1. Suhail Munawar Mir (JKPS: 1999)
• 2. Ramesh Kumar Angral (JKPS: 1999)
• 3. Mohd Arshad (JKPS: 1999)
• 4. Tahir Sajad Bhat (JKPS: 1999)
• 5. Imtiyaz Hussain Mir (JKPS: 1999)

These promotions remain subject to any pending court decisions or writ petitions.
