J&K Government Grants Special Casual Leave for Kashmir-Based Employees in Jammu on Eid-ul-Fitr
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order granting two days of Special Casual Leave for Kashmir-based employees working in the Jammu division on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Government Order No.: 420-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated 30th March 2025, employees from Kashmir stationed in Jammu will be entitled to leave on 1st and 2nd April 2025, coinciding with the 2nd and 3rd days of Eid-ul-Fitr.
This decision aims to facilitate travel and allow employees to celebrate the festival with their families. The order has been issued under the authority of the General Administration Department (GAD) at the Civil Secretariat in J&K.
By granting this leave, the government acknowledges the significance of the festival for the Kashmiri workforce in Jammu and ensures they can observe the celebrations without work-related constraints.
