JK Government Announces Promotions of 74 JKAS Officers || Check Here

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order promoting several Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service. These promotions have been sanctioned in Pay Level 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700), effective from January 1, 2025, on a notional basis and from February 7, 2025, on a regular basis.

A total of 74 officers have been promoted, including Shafiq Ahmad Wani, Iqbal Hussain Mir, Irfan Ali Khan, and others. Additionally, specific officers listed in the order have been designated as Deputy Secretaries in their respective departments.

The order states that the promotions are subject to the outcome of any pending writ petitions in courts. The directive was issued by the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, ensuring the proper implementation of these promotions across administrative departments.
