JEE Main 2025 Results Declared: Check Scorecard, Toppers, and Key Updates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 results for BE/BTech courses. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Exam Dates and Schedule
The JEE Main Session 1 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025, in two shifts:
- Morning shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning was conducted on January 30, 2025, in the second shift (3:00 PM – 6:30 PM).

A total of 13,11,544 candidates appeared for JEE Main 2025 Session 1, with the following distribution:
- Female candidates: 4,24,810
- Male candidates: 8,33,325
- Third-gender candidates: 1

Candidates can follow these steps to check their results:
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the Session 1 Scorecard Download link.
- Enter the required login details.
- View and download the scorecard for future reference.
Top Performers: 14 Candidates Secure 100 NTA Score
A total of 14 students achieved a perfect 100 NTA score, with five candidates from Rajasthan among them.
No Re-Evaluation or Rechecking Allowed
As per NTA’s policy, no re-evaluation or rechecking of JEE Main 2025 scores will be entertained. The results announced are considered final.
Marking Scheme and Negative Marking
- Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Section B: Numerical value-based questions, also with negative marking.
What’s Next After JEE Main 2025 Session 1?
Candidates who qualify for JEE Main can seek admission to NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Those ranking among the top 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025, which is the gateway to IIT admissions.
