The General Administration Department (Vigilance) of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a notification extending the deadline for the submission of property returns for the year 2024. The extension, granted for ten days, allows employees to submit their returns from March 8, 2025, to March 17, 2025 through the Property Return System (PRS) Portal.

Key Points from the Notification:

  • 1. Employees who have already registered on the PRS Portal but have not submitted their property returns must do so within the extended period. Unregistered employees must also complete their registration and submit their returns.

 

  • 2. Employees facing OTP-related issues must update their mobile numbers and email IDs on the CPIS Portal. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs) are responsible for facilitating the process.

 

    • 3. For any technical support, employees can reach out to support-prs@jk.gov.in.

 

  • 4. Controlling Officers and DDOs of various departments must submit an action taken report regarding employees who fail to register or submit their property returns. This report, including CPIS numbers, must be sent to the General Administration Department within a week after the extension expires.

 

This move ensures that all government employees comply with property declaration regulations, promoting transparency and accountability.
