IUST Awantipora Announces 104 Apprentice/Intern Job Positions for 2025-26
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir has issued a notification inviting online applications for 104 apprentice/intern positions for the academic year 2025-26. These positions are open to recent graduates (2023 & 2024) who have secured at least 60% marks in their qualifying degree from recognized universities/institutions across India.

- Administrative Apprentice/Interns: 86 posts

Eligibility Criteria
Category 1: Technical Apprentices
Candidates with a B.Tech degree in relevant disciplines can apply. These include:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Architecture
- Food Technology
- IT Support Services (DIT&SS): B.Tech in CSE or IT
- Design & Innovation Centre: B.Tech in any field
- Library: B.Lib / M.Lib
Category 2: Administrative Apprentices
Eligible qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degrees (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, BSc IT – excluding B.Tech)
- Master’s degrees (MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, MSc IT)
Registration Process
Step 1: NATS Portal Registration Applicants must register at https://nats.education.gov.in, selecting “Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kashmir” as the institution.
Step 2: University Portal Registration After NATS registration, candidates must apply on the university portal at https://recruitment.iust.ac.in/, pay a fee of Rs. 200, and submit hard copies of the application form along with necessary documents.
Important Dates
- Start of Applications: April 12, 2025
- Last Date to Apply Online: April 25, 2025
- Last Date to Submit Hard Copies: May 1, 2025
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit and interview performance (75:25 ratio). Knowledge of computer applications (e.g., MS Office) is preferred.
Stipend Details
- Technical Interns: Rs. 12,000/month (Rs. 4500 from NATS + Rs. 7500 from IUST)
- Administrative Interns: Rs. 10,000/month (Rs. 4500 from NATS + Rs. 5500 from IUST)

- Aadhaar card and bank details must match.
- Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship/internship are not eligible.
