The T20 World Cup 2024 is six months away as it is set to take place in USA & West Indies from June 4-29. There are reports that the ICC might release the complete schedule on Monday, January 8. However, what is confirmed is that 20 teams will take part in the mega-event.

In the latest events, the leading sports organisation, Sports Tak, have exclusively released India’s complete schedule for the 2024 T20 World Cup. As per the reports, the Rohit Sharma-led side will begin their campaign on June 5 by taking on Ireland.

The Men in Blue will then face Pakistan on June 9 in New York. The report mentions that the 2007 T20 World Cup winners will play seven matches before the knock-out round. Here is the complete list of India’s fixtures as mentioned by Sports Tak.

  • 9th June India v Pakistan New York
  • 12th India v USA, New York
  • 15th June India v Canada, Florida
  • 20th India v C1( New Zealand) Barbados
  • 22nd June, India v Sri Lanka, Antigua
  • 24th June, India v Australia, St Lucia
  • 26th June, semi-final 1, Guyana
  • 28th June, semi-final 2, Trinidad
  • 29th June, final, Barbados

As per a report in The Telegraph, all Group A matches will be held in USA with India vs Pakistan to be played at the Eisenhower Park in New York.

The last time India and Pakistan clashed in a T20 World Cup was at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in 2022 when the two teams produced a thriller and a Virat Kohli masterclass guided the Rohit Sharma-led side to a win for the ages.
