Team India Lose Top Spot to Pakistan in WTC Points Table
India have lost their top spot in the ICC World Test Championship points table · The 5th day of their 2nd Test vs West Indies was washed out.
India have dropped to the second spot in the latest World Test Championship (WTC) standings after being held to a draw by the West Indies, with Pakistan occupying the top spot.
Pakistan now sit alone at the top of the standings with a 100 per cent win-loss record, following their four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in Galle last week.
Reigning WTC champions Australia (54.17) and England (29.17), who are playing the Ashes series, occupy the third and fourth spot respectively.
West Indies have benefitted from the draw against India as their win-loss percentage has increased to 16.67 and they have moved up to fifth spot, while Sri Lanka, with one loss, are ninth.

Both India and Pakistan started their campaign in style in the 2023-25 WTC cycle. While India defeated West Indies in the two-match Test series opener by an innings and 141 runs, their Asian neighbours beat Sri Lanka, in Galle, by four wickets in the first of the two Tests. But with Rohit Sharma & Co. losing out on adding more points following the rain-marred second Test in the Caribbean island, the Men in Green now sit at the top spot in terms of win percentage.
