ICC T20 World Cup 2021: India To Face Pakistan In Dubai- Know Match Date & Other Details Here
India vs Pakistan matches have become restricted to international events for a long time, thus the ICC events have become that much more interesting. India has faced Pakistan seven times in World Cup matches and has won all of them.
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to start from October 17 this year in the UAE and all eyes will be on the India vs Pakistan match. Cricket fans of both countries are excited about this match after a long time.
For the first time in over two years, India and Pakistan will meet on the cricket field in the upcoming T20 World Cup and according to ANI, their game will take place on October 24 in Dubai. “Yes, the arch-rivals will clash on October 24,” a source told ANI.
There are two groups in Super 12, in which six teams have been kept. Group-2 comprises India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and the other two qualifiers from Round 1. Group-1 comprises England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies.
The T20 World Cup will return after five years as the 2020 edition — scheduled to take place in Australia — was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. India was scheduled to host the 2021 edition of the tournament but the event was eventually shifted to UAE and Oman. Oman will host the qualifying rounds of the tournament which feature the likes of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Ireland, among others.
