Rohit Sharma at the presentation: The result has not gone our way. We were not good enough. Proud of the team. We tried everything but it just did not go our way. 20-30 more would have been good. Kohli and Rahul were stitching a good partnership but could not continue. That was the plan. When you have 240 on the board, you have to take wickets and put pressure. The wicket got slightly better to bat. We knew it would be slightly better under lights but we do not want to use that as an excuse. We did not bat well.
Pat Cummins at the presentation: I think we saved our best for the last. Couple of our best players stood up. We have been batting first pretty much for the whole tournament. Today we thought it might be a little easier to chase. It was slower than I thought. We bowled some tight lines.

Desperate in the field. The boys were fantastic. I was really chuffed with anything under 300.

I was pacing upstairs. Magnificent. Travis does what he does. Takes the bowlers on, on the biggest stage.

The crowd was awesome. They were silent for our bowling innings. The passion in India is amazing.
