Historic Moment at Tral Chowk: National Flag Unfurled for the First Time on Republic Day 2025

Tral jun 26 :- In a significant and historic development, the National Flag was unfurled for the first time at Tral Chowk on Republic Day 2025. This event, marked by patriotism and unity, brought together people from all walks of life in Tral town, a region that has witnessed years of conflict but is now embracing peace and progress under the vision of “Naya Kashmir.”

Organized by the Indian Army in collaboration with local authorities, the ceremony was attended by a large gathering of 3000 locals, including children, youth, and elderly, despite the freezing temperatures. The voluntary and enthusiastic participation reflected the growing spirit of national integration and unity among the people of the region.

The unfurling of the Tricolour at Tral Chowk was collectively done by an young girl, college going teen and an elderly man marking a timelapse of history. It stands as a symbol of the collective rejection of terrorism and separatism while embodying the aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous future. The event also highlighted the growing trust and bond between the security forces and the local population.

The ceremony featured cultural performances, patriotic songs, and speeches that emphasized the importance of unity and progress. The sight of the Tricolour waving majestically at Tral Chowk was an emotional moment, instilling pride and hope among the residents.
