Hassan Pasha calls upon Mehboob Ali Khan (IRS),Secretary to Govt. UT, Ladakh

Leh 17-06-2021: Mohd Hassan Pasha BJP State Media Secretary UT Ladakh called upon the Mehboob Ali Khan (IRS) Secretary to Govt (Tourism Culture and Labour and Employment Department) UT-Ladakh and felicitated him with traditional Khatak for assuming the charge of Secretary to Govt, Union Territory of Ladakh at his Office in Leh.

He also put forth some pressing issues related to Sodh Block and requested for Promotion of Tourism for which various DPRs costing about Rs 528.99 lack are already submitted to his office last year.

Restoration of Pasar Khar on traditional lines.

Restoration/renovation of Maiterya Buddha Statue at Apati and tourist/pilgrim facilitation and public conveniences.

Inclusion of War Memorial Apati on the Tourist Map of Ladakh on the pattern of Drass War Memorial. This memorial has never been promoted at any level.

Yourbaltak Khankah renovation/restoration and to bring it on the tourism map of Ladakh. This Khankaah is historical. It was constructed on the site where once stood the first Castle (known as the Feekar Khar) of Thatha Khan at Sodh.

Mehbbob Ali Khan listened to the issues put forward by Hassan Pasha and assured that they would be taken up by the concerned departments at the earliest.

Later Hassan Pasha requested Mehboob Ali Khan to visit sodh region so that various issues faced by the people of Sodh Block at the ground level can be addressed.
