Weather Update For Jammu and Kashmir 

Rain/thundershowers are expected in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening.

Short intense thundershowers at one or two places can’t be ruled out.

There is no forecast of long continuous rainfall.

Day temperature in most parts of Kashmir is expected to stay below 30°C.

No significant rain/thundershower spell is expected during the next week.

Light snowfall in higher reaches (altitude > 2800m) can’t be ruled out.

Significant decrease is expected in night temperatures as southwest monsoon is expected to withdraw from J&K in the next week.
