ECHS Srinagar Invites Applications for Medical and Non-Medical Contractual Posts

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has issued an employment notice inviting applications for various contractual posts at the ECHS Polyclinic in Srinagar. These appointments will be for one year, ending on 31 March 2026, and are extendable based on performance and vacancy availability for the following year.

Available Positions:

1. OIC Polyclinic (1 Post)

• Qualification: Graduate with 5+ years of experience in health care institutions or in managerial positions. Computer knowledge and experience over 10 years are desirable.
• Remuneration: ₹75,000/month
• Reservation: 100% for Ex-Servicemen (ESM)

2. Dental Officer (1 Post)

• Qualification: BDS with 5 years of experience
• Remuneration: ₹75,000/month
• Reservation: 60% for ESM, 40% for civilians

3. Dental Assistant/Technician/Hygienist (1 Post)

• Qualification: 10+2 with science, diploma in Dental Hygiene or DH/DORA course, and 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Remuneration: ₹28,100/month
• Reservation: 70% for ESM, 30% for civilians

4. Lab Technician (1 Post)

• Qualification: B.Sc. with Lab Tech diploma and 3 years of lab experience
• Remuneration: ₹28,100/month
• Reservation: 70% for ESM, 30% for civilians

5. Female Attendant (1 Post)

• Qualification: Literate with 5 years experience in Civil/Army health institutions
• Remuneration: ₹16,800/month
• Reservation: 30% for civilians, 70% for ESM

Important Instructions:

• Application Deadline: Submit applications by 26 July 2025 with attested photocopies of all documents.
• Interview: Candidates will be informed of the date and venue through email/SMS.
• Documents Required: Original certificates, work experience proofs, passport-sized photos, discharge book, PPO, and service records.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.

On-Job Training (OJT): Selected candidates must undergo a 10-day training, which is mandatory and unpaid.
