Punjab Kings opener Shikhar Dhawan posted a hilarious video on his Instagram account on Wednesday. The southpaw, who played for Punjab Kings in IPL 2022, was slapped and kicked by his father while family members tried to stop him.
It was a fun activity to make fans laugh. Dhawan has a habit of shooting such Reels for his fans, and sometimes he includes his family members as well.
In this video, Dhawan’s father can be seen beating his son. He captioned the post as: “Knock out by my dad for not qualifying for knockouts.”
Punjab Kings finished at No 6 in the points table with 7 wins and as many defeats. He scored 453 runs from 14 games at a strike rate of above 120.
Dhawan is also the leading run-getter for Punjab Kings this season. Unfortunately, Punjab Kings failed to qualify for the playoffs even in this season.
They last qualified for the playoffs in IPL 2014 season when they made it all the way to the final. However, they surrendered at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders in the final.
