Delhi MCD Election Results Live Updates: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Wednesday won the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections, crossing the halfway mark with 131 seats at 2.10 pm, results declared by the State Election Commission (SEC) for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls show. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 97. With 250 wards in the MCD, a party needs 126 to win.

The exit poll result for the MCD election 2022 was declared on Monday, 5 December and most exit polls predicted a landslide victory for the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, taking the throne away from the BJP. According to the exit poll result, the Congress would fail to leave a mark even this time.

Meanwhile, the election commission has set up 42 counting centres across the city for the counting of votes. Election observers, and 136 engineers from Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) have been deployed.
