DC Anantnag takes stock of arrangements at Dedicated Covid19 Hospital Bijbehara
Directs for proactive measures, augmentation of facilities at earliest
ANANTNAG, 22 APRIL(KN): The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today visited Trauma Hospital Bijbihara turned Dedicated Covid Hospital to take stock of the arrangements being put in place for isolation and treatment of Covid patients there.
DGM JKPCC, SDM Bijbihara, CMO, Dy CMO, Exens PHE, PDD, Tehsildar and BMO Bijbihara and other concerned officers accompanied the DC.
On the occasion, the DC directed the concerned officers to install requisite number of beds alongwith ventilator and other facilities at the earliest.
He also directed for ensuring proper healthcare to patients and safety to frontline health workers besides hygiene and cleanliness in the hospital.
Dr. Singla urged upon the concerned officers to install fully functional Gensets for uninterrupted and stable power supply besides other basic facilities in a time bound manner.
The DC said the administration is taking proactive steps for augmenting and keeping the medical infrastructure in ready gear to address any eventuality.
The Medical Superintendent Dr. B. S. Tulla informed the DC the hospital has currently 75 isolation beds with oxygen facilities besides 7 Intensive Care Unit beds.
It was further given out 24 Cardiac Monitors, 2 Big Ventilators, 5 Mobile Ventilators, 28 oxygen concentrators alongwith 82 bulk and 43 medium size oxygen cylinders are at the diaposal of the hospital.
