Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of Union Territory Survey Committee and District Level Suruey Commlttee(s), comprising the following, for implementation of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Rules, 2013 in the Union territory of Jammu & Kashmir:
Terms of Refer€nce:
i. To monitor and oversee the survey process at Union territory level’
ii. To distribute the materials for awareness campaign to designated place(s).
iii. To arrange publicity through local newspapers etc. about the survey’
iv. To distribute translated survey material to designated place under its jurisdiction.
v.Toapprovefinallistofmanualscavengersforalltowns,citiesandvillages in the Union territory of J&K.
vi. To publicize final consolidated list of the manual scavengers in the union territory of J&K.
