CBSE: Class 10th, 12th Final Result 2022 – Check Pass Marks, Evaluation, Result Release Date And Other Details
All the Students under CBSE who have currently attempted their Term 2 Exams for Class 10 or 12 should get ready as the Board is currently evaluating their Sheets. Once the evaluation of CBSE Term 2 Answer Sheets of Class 10th 12th is over, results will be published online.
However you must note that 30% Marks weightage will be taken from Term 1 Result and rest of the marks will be taken from CBSE Term 2 Result 2022. All the students are hereby informed that CBSE Term 2 Class 10, 12 Result 2022 will be available for your around June-July month. In order to pass the CBSE 10th Result or CBSE 12th Result, you need to score above 45% in Term 2 and above 40% Marks in Term 1 Results.
The CBSE Term 2 Result 2022 will be released tentatively in the last week of June or first week of July by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE Term 2 Results 2022 are likely to be released online at cbse.gov.in.
Once, it is released, the authorities will announce the CBSE 10th result date and time. Apart from the official websites- cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in, Students can check their CBSE Term 2 Class 10, 12 Result 2022 using their admit card roll number, DOB, the center, and school number. The result will also be available for all appeared students on the UMANG website and also via SMS.
Candidates will be able to check their results by filling in the details required. This year the CBSE 10 exams were conducted in two terms. The term 1 exam were held in December 2021 whereas the term 1 CBSE board exam was concluded on 24th May 2022.
The term 1 results have already been declared. Now, the board will directly release the final result. CBSE had earlier said that it would announce the results by June end or July first week. The board had said that it is trying to announce the results in a record-time. As per the existing trend, the results for class 12 are announced before class 10 to begin the college admissions process.

Students On Twitter Demand ‘Best of Either Terms Subject Wise’ Evaluation Method
A large number of students are demanding a different evaluation method since the examination took place.
Class 10 students have been found posting on Twitter with the hashtag #BestofEitherTerms. They are demanding the board use their best scores in Term 1 and Term 2 exams to prepare the results. Being apprehensive about appearing for the exam offline after the pandemic, the students had asked for online exams as well. This plea was rejected by the supreme court.
CBSE Class 10 term 2 exam concluded on May 24 with the Information Technology (IT) exam. Over 21 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 exams which began on April 26. As per reports, the evaluation process for the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2022 is underway, the term 2 result is expected to be announced by June-end. The CBSE term 2 Class 10 result will be available on the official websites- cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in.
After the exams, ‘Best of Either Terms Subject Wise’ was trending all over social media. Students from all state boards joined in the trend. Asserting that ‘Best of either terms subject wise’ is the ideal approach to evaluating board results.

Taking to Twitter, the students urged the CBSE to announce the Class 10 result on the basis of ‘#BestofEitherTerms’. The term ‘Best of Either Terms Subject Wise’ evaluation method is trending on Twitter since May 24, the day CBSE Class exam was concluded.
In the meantime, other state board students have also joined the trend. One student organisation has also submitted a representation on ‘Best of Either Terms Subject Wise’ evaluation method to PM Modi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and CBSE.
A CBSE student tweeted, “Hello CBSE, Our batch has faced a lots of problems such as corona second wave in the starting of session, online classes, in every state there are many schools who involved in cheating , third wave and more. Please give us justice by providing best of either terms.”

Yet another student said in a tweet, “Request to all the Senior Authorities CBSE, Dharmendra Pradhan, PM Modi to Please Give the students #BestOfEitherTerms because many students have performed well in Term 1 and some students perform well in term 2 so best of either terms is the best for all the students or 50:50.”

However, the CBSE has not clarified on the weightage of term 1 and 2 examinations. Earlier, the CBSE had said that it will not announce the term 2 marks separately, and will release the cumulative marksheets of term 1 and 2 exams

CBSE 10th, 12th Exam: New Assessment And Evaluation Policy Announced – Check New Assessment Scheme
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to roll back the two term board exam system 2022-23 onwards, and go back to the traditional once-a-year exam pattern.
In addition, it has made several changes to the evaluation scheme, including alternation in weightage given to different types of questions.
As per the recently announced assessment policy of board exams 2022-23, there will be at least 40% competency-based questions in Class 9th and Class 10th. These questions can be multiple-choice questions, case-based, source-based integrated questions or any other type of questions.
In addition, 20% of questions will be objective-type and the remaining 40% will be short answer or long answer type in 2022-23 Class 10 final exams. In class 10 term 1 and term 2 exams of 2022, 30% of the questions were competency-based.
Similarly, for CBSE class 12 final exams, a minimum of 30% of questions will be competency-based in form of multiple-choice questions, case-based, source-based integrated questions or any other type of questions.
Also, the objective-type questions will carry 20% weightage and the remaining 50% will be short or long answer type questions. Earlier, the portion of competency-based questions in Class 12 board exams was 20%.
