CBSE Term 1 Result 2021: 

Just two months left for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) term 2 board exams, the students are eagerly waiting for their term 1 result 2021. Replying on whether term 1 result will be announced? CBSE Spokesperson Rama Sharma told Careers360, “As of now, there is no update on term 1 result announcement.”

Meanwhile, a board official said that the term 1 result is likely to be announced in March. “The board is working to announce the term 1 result in March, but there are views to announce the term 1 result jointly with term 2. An official announcement on term 1 results will be soon,” the official said. Earlier, according to an official, the term 1 result was to be announced in February.

CBSE Term 1 Results: When and where to check:

CBSE will soon declare the term 1 results for the students of classes 10 and 12. Once the results are declared, students can check them on the official website, i.e., cbse.nic.in.

Here are the steps to check scores: 

  • Visit the CBSE official website (cbse.nic.in)
  • On the homepage, click ‘CBSE 10th Term 1 Result 2022’ or ‘CBSE 12th Result 2022’ link
  • Enter your roll number, other details and click on submit
  • Your classes 10 and 12 results will be displayed on the screen
  • Download your result and take a printout for future reference

How will students get Term 1 results:

From this academic year, CBSE has divided the board examination into two terms. The term 1 board exams were held in November-December. And, as per the schedule, CBSE will conduct the term 2 board exams in March-April.

Further, students will get their results in the form of marks for the CBSE term 1 board examination. Further, no student will be placed in the pass, compartment, or essential repeat category after CBSE term I exams. The board will publish the final result of Classes 10 and 12 after the conduction of term 2 examinations.

Other ways to check results: 

It may be noted that the students can also check their scores on DigiLocker app and website (digilocker.gov.in); and on Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) app.

Meanwhile, the Board had recently announced that the practical exam for classes 10th and 12th for Term 2 examinations will start on March 2nd and the board exams will be conducted in offline mode from April 26.

“The board after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the Covid-19 situation in the country has decided to conduct second-term board exams in offline mode only. The theory exams will begin on April 26, 2022. The datasheet for classes 10 and 12 will be released soon,” CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj had said on February 9.

“The pattern of the question papers will be the same as that of sample question papers hosted on the board’s website. The students will appear in the examinations from the allotted examination centres as done during the preceding years,” he had added.
