CBSE Exam Paper Full of Error, Spelling Mistakes- CBSE Official Clarifies About Error
CBSE 10th English Exam Full of Error, Spelling Mistakes: There were errors in class 10 English exam, claim students and experts. While some questions had no choice but others had only question but no option. Experts claim that the students had to mark the correct answer option which became difficult for them with errors. Apart from this, there were many spelling errors in the question paper. “The main error in the paper was in question number 13 and question 14 as there were no questions but only options,” said Deepti Sahni, dean of innovation at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, reports PTI.
CBSE Official Clarifies About ‘Error’ in Class 10 English Board Exam Question Paper:
CBSE Class 10 English Board Exam: CBSE official clarified that the instructions were clear and no such extra marks will be awarded to students. It may be noted that both the questions are correct and there is no ambiguity. The passage starts with the following statement- ‘Read the passage given below and answer the questions/complete the statements that follow by choosing the most appropriate option out of the given ones. Questions are to be replied as per the instructions given and not in isolation,” the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE said in a statement. “Further in the same set of question paper 002/2/4, C and D carry similar meaning of options given. However, option B is correct.”
CBSE Class 10 English Paper 2021:
The last Term1 board exam paper for Class 10 students was a standard paper based on NCERT. The paper was easy enough but came with an error as called out by students and teachers. CBSE official has however clarified that the instructions were clear and no such extra marks will be awarded to students.
CBSE CLASS 10 AND CLASS 12 BOARD EXAMS:
CBSE class 10 and 12 terms 1 board exams are being held in MCQ-based format. This is the first time that CBSE is holding exams in this format. Board had earlier admitted that having errors in the exam can not be ruled out, however, the board assured proper redressal of grievances.
