Breaking News: Weekend Curfew Imposed In Kashmir District From Today
Srinagar: In continuation to Covid-19 containment measures ordered under Section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 vide Order No. DMK/PA/2021-22/1872-97 dated 11.07.2021 read with Order No. DMK/PA/2021-22/3653-87 dated 09.01.2022 and pursuant to the Government Order under reference, I, Dr. Bilal Mohiud-din Bhat, IAS, District Magistrate Kulgam, by virtue of powers vested in me u/s 144 CrPCISection 34 of Disaster Management, Act-2005 and Epidemic Disease Act, 1897, do hereby order that there shall be complete restriction on non-essential movement during weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) in the entire District w.e.f 15.01.2022 till further orders besides night restrictions which are already in force.
