Bharti Airtel Increases Price on It’s Plans From November 26- Know Here The Full List of New Prices

Bharti Airtel has announced that the telecom operator will be increasing its prepaid plan prices for various plans in India. These new tariffs will come into effect from November 26. Airtel says that this price hike has been introduced to enable a reasonable return on capital that allows for a financially healthy business model.

The new hiked price will represent an increase of around 20 per cent to 25 per cent. Entry-level voice plan by Airtel now sees a 25 per cent hike, while most unlimited voice bundles (the plans with unlimited calling and a daily-data limit for speed) will see hikes of about 20 per cent.

Airtel’s new prepaid plan prices now begin at Rs 99 instead of the Rs 79 plan. The most premium Rs. 2,498 Airtel combo prepaid plan will now be priced at Rs. 2,999, Rs. 1,498 Airtel prepaid plan will now be priced at Rs. 1,799. Also, the Rs. 698 Airtel prepaid plan will now be priced at Rs. 839.

Bharti Airtel said it has always maintained that the mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) needs to be at Rs 200 and ultimately at Rs 300 to provide a reasonable return on capital that allows for a financially healthy business model.

The last major tariff revision was in December 2019, when the three telcos, Airtel, Vodafone and Jio announced a tariff hike.
