Bank Holidays July 2023: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of Bank Holidays for July 2023. In the month of July, in addition to the customary weekends, banks will remain closed in numerous states due to different occasions.

Banks will remain closed for as many as fifteen days in the month of July 2023, as per the holiday calendar issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). These holidays include the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays, which are considered weekend leaves. Among these holidays, eight are listed under the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act, while the rest are regular weekend offs. On the first and third Saturdays of the month, banks will be open for business.

Some of these bank holidays will be state-specific, and during national holidays, banks will remain shut across the country. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has placed the holidays under three brackets- Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
