Th banks will be closed for 4 consecutive days in this week from 14, 15, 16 and 17 April. The Sunday holiday is also included in the list of these holidays. On April 14, 15, 16, there will be a holiday in banks in only a few cities. So you check the name of your city in this list.
Know when and why banks will be closed (Bank Holidays List April 2022)
- April 14 – Banks will remain closed except in Shillong and Shimla due to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti/ Mahavir Jayanti/ Baisakhi/ Tamil New Year/ Chairoba, Biju Festival/ Bohar Bihu festival.
- 15 April – Banks closed in Jaipur, Jammu and Srinagar except in places other than Jaipur, Jammu and Srinagar on account of Good Friday/Bengali New Year/Himachal Day/Vishu/Bohag Bihu
- 16 April – Banks will remain closed in Guwahati on Bohag Bihu
- April 17 – Banks will remain closed due to Sunday weekly holiday
The bank is closed for a total of 15 days in the entire month of April, out of which some holidays have gone and some holidays will be in the coming week.
