Babar Azam breaks Chris Gayle’s world record; Virat Kohli third in the list
Babar Azam is breaking records in T20 cricket. After surpassing Virat Kohli in century count, he recently became the fastest batsman to score 7000 runs in the shortest format of the game.
While Chris Gayle achieved the landmark in 192 innings, Babar Azam touched the milestone in 187 innings. India skipper Virat Kohli is third in the list, having reached seven thousand T20 runs in 212 innings. Aaron Finch, who occupies the fourth spot, completed the achievement in 222 innings.
