In View of the current severe weather conditions, the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir has ordered the closure of all government and private schools across the Kashmir Division for April 21, 2025. This move is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students amid inclement weather.

However, teaching and non-teaching staff are expected to report for duty as usual despite the suspension of classwork.

The official order, issued by Divisional Commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (IAS), has been circulated to all relevant authorities for immediate implementation and media dissemination.
