- Academic Qualification:
- A graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- The degree should be in one of the subjects taught in middle/primary classes of Air Force schools.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree in the relevant subject will be preferred.
- Professional Qualification:
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent recognized by the Government of India, AICTE, UGC, or the National Council of Teacher’s Education.
- Experience:
- At least two years of teaching experience as a PGT/TGT/PRT.
- Alternatively, a minimum of two years of experience as a Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress in an Air Force School.
Age Limit:
- General Age Requirement: 25 to 50 years as of July 1, 2025.
- Relaxations:
- For Air Force School staff with at least two years of continuous service, there is no upper age limit.
- Women candidates and those with physical disabilities are eligible for up to five years of age relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen may deduct the duration of their service from their age, provided the resultant age does not exceed the maximum limit.
Language Proficiency:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
Desirable Qualifications (Additional Weightage):
- Knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
- Familiarity with CBSE rules, NCERT materials, and the POCSO Act.
- Participation in educational workshops.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in Hindi.
- CTET/STET-qualified candidates will be given preference.
