Admission Notification for M.Sc. Technology Courses (SKIMS) Soura, Srinagar From the Candidates Belonging to Jammu & Kashmir/Ladakh

Applications are invited from the candidates belonging to UTs of J&K/Ladakh who are eligible and desirous for admission to M.Sc. Technology Courses (SKIMS) 2023 through Offline mode. The selection of the candidates shall be governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002 and Rules & Regulations made thereunder, SRO 505 of 2019 dated 20.08.2019 read with SRO 640 of 2019 dated 24.10.2019, J&K Reservation Act, 2004 as amended vide J&K Reorganization Act, 2019, S.O 127 dated 20-04-2020, S.O 249 dated 23.07.2021, S.O 277 dated: 13.08.2021 and subject to further amendments, if any, made by the Competent Authority/Government.

Eligibility for candidates: Any candidate applying for this course:-

a) must be Domicile of UT of J&K /Ladakh.

Submission of Application Forms:

The interested candidates are required to submit the Application Form physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar (on working days only) alongwith the following self-attested certificates w.e.f. 13-07-2023 to 27-07-2023 (04.00 P.M):-

(i) domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate).

(ii) desired qualifying marks card of the courses passed which are required by the candidate(s) to be eligible for these courses.

(iii) date of Birth (10th class Marks card/Diploma issued by the Board)

(iv) Experience/work Certificate wherever required.

(v) Valid Reserved category certificate, if any &

(vi) Fee of Rs.1500/= to be paid through POS Machine available at the BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through Debit/Credit card.

The Application Form shall be available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar and also annexed as Annexure-A to this Notification which can be downloaded from official website www.jkbopee.gov.in.

However, it is for the information of all concerned that afore-titled documents as required for submission of application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s) vide any order as may be issued subsequently.

Note:-

The eligibility is bare minimum/provisional and shall be subject to such changes/bench marks as may be fixed by the concerned University/Competent Authority. The Board shall on receipt of any such communication from the concerned Authority/University notify the same, which shall govern the eligibility criteria.

Instructions:

a) No under process certificate will be accepted/entertained;

b) Original Documents as mentioned above are required to be submitted in the concerned Institution at the time of Admission, if provisionally selected.

c) The Sports Category candidates have to indicate their sports category on the Application Form. They are also advised to submit their Sports Certificate(s) in the office of J&K Sports Council as and when notified by the Secretary, J&K Sports council for determining their sports points which shall be forwarded to the J&K BOPEE officially by the council. The BOPEE, however, shall not be responsible for non-inclusion of any candidate in the sports list forwarded by the Sports Council to the BOPEE.

Mode of Selection/Admission:

Pursuant to Notification No. 002–BOPEE of 2016 Dated 27-01-2016, the Board shall make the selection of eligible candidates to these courses as per the provisions of Regulation 10 (1) of J&K BOPEE Regulations 2016. In case two or more candidates having secured equal Marks in the Entrance Test, then their tie shall be resolved by considering their D.O B (Candidate older in age shall be preferred 1st) & in case of further tie, 1st alphabet of the name of candidate shall be taken into the account for selection.

Note:-

I) Mere submission of the Application Form shall not confer any preferential right / claim for admission upon the intending applicants, but shall be subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and the qualification prescribed for the said courses during the process of counselling / admission.

II) The Board has the right to reject any application form at any stage, if found false/fabricated, without issuing any notice to the candidate concerned.

III) The Board has the right to make any change at any point of time in the process of selection for such courses if need be.
