ACB Registers FIR in DA case, Conducts Searches at Srinagar, Ganderbal
Srinagar, Mar 05: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) P/S Srinagar Kashmir on Thursday said to have registered FIR into the allegations of acquisition of disproportionate assets accumulated by a public servant namely Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, then Junior Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE) Department Sub Division Pulwama.

The suspect is in possession of huge assets both immovable / movable and cash deposits in his own name as well as in the name of his family members. The assets were found disproportionate to his known source of income during the verification. Accordingly a case FIR No. 04/2025 is registered in P/S ACB Srinagar, an official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Under the supervision of SSP Javid Hassan Bhat Searches were carried at his 02 separate residential houses located at a) Pehlipora Safapora Ganderbal, and b) Jawahar Nagar Srinagar simultaneously, he said.
During the search incriminating material including Revenue papers, finance/bank documents were recovered and seized as evidence in the instant case, the official said, adding that the investigation of the case is going on.
