NEET 2020 : Check SOPs, dress code, other information here
NEET 2020: The National Testing Agency, NTA, will conduct the NEET 2020 examination tomorrow i.e., September 13, 2020. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, NTA has released some SOPs which the candidates are requested to keep in mind. candidates should follow certain rules and restrictions regarding the dress code and items which are not allowed in the examination center. Candidates who still have not downloaded their admit cards are requested to visit the official website for the process of downloading the NEET 2020 admit card.
NEET 2020: SOPs to keep in mind
- Candidates need to maintain social distancing.
- Seating plan to maintain social distancing.
- Staggered slots for candidates reporting at exam centres.
NEET 2020: Safety protocols
- Spray bottles, sponges/clothes for disinfecting desks/tables/door handles.
- Spray entire exam centers floors, walls, doors, gates with a disinfectant backpack.
- Staff verification and self-declaration for exam functionaries.
- Thermo gun for temperature reading at entrance.
- Separate lines for boys and girls (up to 20 boys/ 20 girls).
- Body frisking will not be done.
- Frisking by long-handle metal detectors mandatory for all candidates.
NEET 2020: Documents and items allowed and not allowed
- Candidates are requested to carry the physical copy of their NEET 2020 admit card with duly filled declaration form, original government issued photo id card, PwD certificate (if applicable).
- Phones, Bluetooth devices and other transmitting devices are strictly prohibited at the examination centre.
- Candidates can carry a transparent water bottle with them to the examination hall as well as a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
- No bags, stationary, books or printed material other than the one mentioned in the admit card is allowed
NEET 2020: Dress Code
- Candidates will be allowed to wear masks and gloves.
- Full sleeve shirts, dresses with big buttons and dark or tight clothes are not advisable.
- Candidates are not allowed to wear shoes, they can wear slippers or floaters.
- Candidates are not allowed to wear jewellery, watch, etc.
