Jammu and Kashmir Government Forms Sub-Committee to Address Grievances on Reservation Rules

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a Sub-Committee to address grievances raised by aspirants concerning reservation rules for various posts. This decision, issued under Government Order No. 2061-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated December 10, 2024, follows a Council of Ministers’ directive on November 22, 2024.

The committee includes:

• 1. Ms. Sakina Masood, Hon’ble Minister
• 2. Mr. Javed Ahmed Rana, Hon’ble Minister
• 3. Mr. Satish Sharma, Hon’ble Minister

The Social Welfare Department will assist the committee in conducting its work, and the findings will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for further consideration.

The order has been widely circulated to relevant government officials, including the Financial Commissioner, Director General of Police, Principal Secretaries, and other senior administrators.
