MeT Predicts Weather Advisory for Jammu & Kashmir: December 5 to 16, 2024

The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has released the weather outlook for Jammu and Kashmir for the coming days:

Forecast Details

• December 5–7:
  • Predominantly dry weather across the region.

• December 8–9:
  • Cloudy conditions with light rain expected at isolated locations in Jammu Division.
  • Light rain and snow likely in higher reaches of Kashmir Division, especially during the late evening of December 8 and into the forenoon of December 9.
  • Some areas in Jammu Division may witness thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds during the evening or night of December 8.

December 10–14:

• • Continuation of generally dry weather.

• December 15–16:
• • Light rain and snow anticipated at a few isolated places.
