USA Cricketer Rusty Theron Alleges Ball Tampering by Pakistan Bowlers During T20 World Cup 2024
Former South African cricketer Rusty Theron, who currently plays for USA and is part of the Major League Cricket, accused Pakistan cricketers for ball-tampering during the Pakistan vs USA ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match.
Rusty is not part of the USA squad but in a social media post, he pointed out that Haris Rauf was running his thumbnails down the ball which is two overs old and that was why it was reversing. Fans were shocked to such an allegation and made the post viral on social media.
USA Cricketer Rusty Theron Alleges Ball Tampering by Pakistan Bowlers
@ICC are we just going to pretend Pakistan aren't scratching the hell out of this freshly changed ball? Reversing the ball that's just been changed 2 overs ago? You can literally see Harris Rauf running his thumb nail over the ball at the top of his mark. @usacricket #PakvsUSA

‘Hurt & disappointed’: Shoaib Akhtar says Pakistan never deserve to win against USA in T20 World Cup
Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar expressed frustration after Pakistan’s stunning T20 World Cup loss to the USA in Dallas. Both teams scored 159 runs in 20 overs. USA’s 18-run Super Over, marred by Pakistan’s wides and overthrows, outclassed Pakistan’s 13-1. Akhtar acknowledged USA’s superior performance, admitting Pakistan didn’t deserve the win.
