Finally Good News: Snowfall Started In South Kashmir area and Higher Reaches of Jammu & Kashmir- Watch Video From South Kashmir Here
The dry spell in some areas of Kashmir has started to break after snowfall started Thursday evening in the southern part of the Himalayan region.
On Tuesday, a private weather forecaster predicted that three subsequent Western Disturbances may break Kashmir’s prolonged dry spell.
The Meteorological office has also issued an advisory between January 28-31. It also warned of temporary motorway closures in higher reaches of the region including Sinthan Pass, Mughal Road, Sadhna Top, Razdan Pass, and Zojila.

- Snowfall Started in Sedow-Hirpora Shopian
- Snowfall Started in Doodhpatri
- Snowfall Started in Herpora Shopian
- Snowfall Started in Gurez
- Snowfall Started in Sonmarg
- Snowfall Started in Higher Reaches of Banihal
- Snowfall Started in Peer Ki Gali
- Snowfall Started in Karnah

Weatherman predicts snowfall in J&K
The Meteorological (Met) department has forecast snow/rain in plains as well as in the higher reaches between January 26 to February 1.
