Bhatkal Mosque Will Be Demolished Like Babri Masjid: BJP MP
BJP MP Anantkumar Hegde on Saturday said the Bhatkal mosque in Karnataka would meet a fate similar to that of the Babri Masjid, which was demolished in 1992 by Hindu ‘kar sevaks’.
“The destruction of Bhatkal Mosque is guaranteed like Babri Masjid. This is not the decision of Anantkumar Hegde, but the decision of Hindu society,” Hegde said.
The BJP leader also accused the Congress of dividing Hindu society for centuries and labelled them as “anti-Hindu” and “against Sanatana Dharma”.
Hegde mocks CM Siddaramaiah
The former Union Minister slammed Chief Minister Siddarmaiah for his decision to not attend the Ram Temple inauguration event in Ayodhya.
“Congress is not an opponent to us, but Siddaramaiah is. Their mentality has been sold to minority votes. Their cheap and anti-Hindu mentality is what we oppose,” Hegde said.
He also claimed ‘Hindus’ victory’ after the CM said that he would visit Ram Temple some day after January 22.
“Siddaramaiah first said that the Ram Temple invitation has not come. When it came, he said that he would not attend it. You (Siddaramaiah) go or leave but the event will not stop. Today, he says that he will go to the temple but not on that day (January 22) but later. This is the power of the Hindu community. His tone changed in just 8 days, this is Hindu strength,” Hegde added.
