WhatsApp beta for Android 2.20.197.3: what’s new?

 

WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.20.197.3.

The feature Mute Always is not actually available.

This feature is under development:

it means that WhatsApp is actually working to develop and improve it before the release. For this reason if you don’t see this feature in your WhatsApp build it’s not a problem.

If you don’t see the update on the Play Store, please refresh the Google Play Store in the next hours.

What’s the first thing you do when someone adds you in a group, and you aren’t interested but you cannot left? You surely mute the group for 1 year.

WhatsApp is now planning, with the 2.20.197.3 update, to replace the 1 year option with Always, in order to always silent notifications from chats and groups:
