Consequent upon the declaration of NEET PG – 2023 result by the National Board of Examination (NBE), a tentative Roll No. wise list on the basis of NEET data received by the BOPEE from Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, was notified vide Notification No. 033-BOPEE of 2023 dated 20-06-2023 for information of the concerned candidates.
Further, the Board vide Notice No 020-BOPEE-2023 dated 08.07.2023, notified the lists of candidates under Sports Category along with their ranks for MD/MS/PGD & MDS courses2023 respectively and the candidates were also offered an opportunity to make representation(s), if any, before the Board within three days from the date of its issuance against the said lists. In response to the said notice the Board had received certain representation(s) which were examined and accordingly disposed off on merits and as such the Sports category lists were treated as final.
The Board vide Notification No. 038-BOPEE of 2023 dated 12.07.2023 advised all the eligible candidates to register themselves and upload their documents on the BOPEE website viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in for verification / updating of their category status, through online mode w.e.f. 14.07.2023 to 17.07.2023, for preparation of the Provisional UT Merit List (PML).
The online Registration Forms and the documents uploaded by the candidates have been scrutinized and inter alia, the following has been noticed: –
a. Some candidates who have made the registration but their registration forms are deficient for want of one or more document(s) including Domicile Certificate, Registration Certificate of J&K State Medical Council/MCI/NMC, Internship Completion Certificate etc. The registration forms of such candidates have been provisionally approved and they shall be allowed to participate in the Online Counseling process subject to the condition that they shall submit all the deficient
documents along with other relevant documents as required by the Colleges/Institutions at the time of admission, if selected, otherwise their selection shall be cancelled.
b. The candidates who have uploaded Difficult Area Certificate but the period mentioned in said certificate is less than one year as on the cut-off date for online registration fixed by the Board i.e. 17.07.2023, and also the candidates who have not uploaded the Difficult Area Certificate or have uploaded such certificate which has not been issued by the concerned Director Health Services, have been considered under OM Category provided that they are otherwise eligible under Open Merit.
c. The candidates who have filled CDP Category but have uploaded old certificate are provisionally included in the PML and have been allowed to participate in the online counseling process subject to the condition that they shall submit fresh CDP certificate with Priority as per the prescribed format, physically at BOPEE office Jammu or Srinagar by or before 26th July, 2023 failing which they shall be considered under open merit, if otherwise, eligible under Open Merit. Further, the candidates whose reserved ‘Category Certificate(s)’ is deficient shall have to submit a valid category certificate physically at the BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar upto 26.07.2027 (02.00 p.m.) failing which they shall be considered under Open Merit category by the Board without any further notice, if otherwise, eligible under open merit.
d. No document(s) shall be accepted through e-mail / WhatsApp.
e. On the basis of the information provided by the respective Medical Colleges of UT of J&K, the candidates who have been granted admissions during the session 2020, 2021 and 2022 but have left the same midway they have been debarred for registration in 2023 as per SRO 48 of 2018 dated 30.01.2018.
f. The candidates, who have uploaded PwD Certificates on their own, the Board has included their names provisionally in the Provisional Merit Lists and they shall be allotted the seats on the basis of their PwD certificate, subject to the condition that the genuineness of their PwD certificate shall be ascertained (wherever required) by the respective College Authority as per MCI/ NMC guidelines during or after the time of admission, if provisionally selected. In case any candidate found ineligible under this category at any later stage, their admission shall be cancelled ab-initio.
In view of the above the Provisional UT Merit List (PML) of the candidates, who have qualified NEET PG MD/MS/PGD & MDS – 2023 and have registered themselves with the Board through online mode and have uploaded all the requisite documents/category certificates up to the prescribed date is hereby notified as Annexure A & B to this Notification. The lists of the candidates who have applied under Difficult Area category is also notified as Annexure ‘C’ to this Notification.
However, the Difficult Area marks have been awarded to them as per the eligibility in accordance with the Rules viz. SRO 48 of 2018 dated 30-01-2018 read with SRO 201 of 2006 dated 15-06-2006 on the subject and added to their NEET score.
It is further notified that any candidate desirous of making a representation, with regard to the position assigned to him/her in the PML annexed as Annexures A, B & C to this Notification, may do so up to 26-07-2023 (till 02:00 p.m.) during working days, however, such candidates are advised to submit their representations, if any, physically with the BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar and the Board shall dispose off the same under rules. No representation(s) / objection(s) shall be accepted after the last date i.e. 26.07.2023. In case no representation is received by the Board in this regard, this PML shall be deemed as final.
The candidates who have applied under EWS, Sports, CDP, JKPM and P&B categories have been considered in open merit as per the prescribed standards of eligibility as per MCI/NMC guidelines.
The candidatures of few candidates have been rejected by the Board because their NEET-PG score 2023 is below the cut off score fixed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
The Board reserves the right to make any changes/corrections in the records as may be found necessary on the basis of documentary evidence.
The schedule for online counselling for such courses shall be notified separately in due course of time and the candidates in their own interest are advised to remain in touch with BOPEE website for regular updates.
The candidate(s) shall be held personally responsible for submission/uploading of any false/wrong information/ document(s). In the event of such wrong information coming to the notice of the Board at any point of time, it shall render such candidate(s) ineligible for consideration for admission to such course(s) and their candidature shall be cancelled ab-initio on their own risk and responsibility without any further notice to them.
The candidates in their own interest are also advised to go through the e – Information Brochure which shall be made available and uploaded on website of the Board before commencement of online counselling.
The Annexures ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ to this Notification shall be available on the BOPEE website only.
The other Terms and Conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in e-Information Brochure / Notifications / Notices issued by the Board from time to time in this regard.
