PM Modi on Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is unstoppable at the box office. The movie is continuing to do well at the box office and is quickly becoming one  of the most popular Bollywood blockbusters in recent times. The movie has now generated staggering gross of Rs. 865 crore from both domestic and foreign markets.

The highest-grossing film in Indian cinema history is listed as Pathaan.  PM Narendra Modi recently mentioned the movie in his speech to the parliament. During his statement in the Lok Sabha, the honourable Prime Minister of India brought up the international success of Pathaan while mentioning crowded theatres in Srinagar. After many years, he revealed how Pathaan shows are once again presenting to overflowing theatres in Kashmir.  He couldn’t stop talking about Pathaan’s sold-out performances at Srinagar’s Inox Ram Munshi Bagh.

With the release of Pathaan, several single-screen theatres that were closed during the global pandemic restarted operations.
