Gadar 2 is Sunny Deol’s film One of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year. The actor repeats his legendary Tara Singh role from the 2001 box office smash Gadar: Ek Prem Katha in the action drama. Recently, the first look poster for the movie was published, and it was said that filming was set to end up. Videos of Sunny Deol’s battle scenes have recently been posted online, giving a glimpse of the film’s scope.

One of the videos, which is filmed in a dusty area, Sunny’s character is seen fending off numerous enemies while wearing a black kurta-pyjama and matching turban. In another video, The men he is battling are dressed in khaki uniforms, suggesting they could be police officers. Sunny is seen in the video defeating numerous foes by himself.
Yet another video that was released on Twitter, Sunny and a few other characters can be seen chained to pillars . Sunny then violently breaks open the chains using just his bare hands. There is no information available how old these videos are or location of these films. Over the past few months, Gadar 2 has been filmed in a number of locations of Mumbai and Punjab.

Officially titled Gadar – The Katha Continues, the film will be released on August 11 just ahead of Independence Day. It also brings back Ameesha Patel in the role of Sakeena as well Utkarsh Sharma as Sunny and Ameesha’s son Charanjeet. Utkarsh, son of the director, was 7 when he appeared in the original. Other cast members of the sequel include Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, and Manish Wadhwa.

Gadar was the highest-grossing film of 2001 and one of the highest-grossing Indian films till that point. The Anil Sharma film grossed Rs 133 crore worldwide, leaving other hits like Lagaan and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham behind in earnings.
