Babar Azam hails Naseem Shah, Shahnawaz Dahani’s spirit and aggression despite 5-wicket defeat:
Pakistan captain Babar Azam hailed his bowling unit’s spirit and aggression after their loss against India on Sunday, 28 August. Speaking in the post-match presentation, Babar said that they were behind by at least 15 runs and were playing catch-up in the second innings of the game.
“Definitely, the way we started the game. We were definitely short by 15 runs on the day and I am proud of the way we bowled today,” Babar said.
“The way Dahani stepped up today, both with the bat and ball, but we could not close the game today,” he further added.
Baber mentioned debutant Naseem Shah in the presser and said that he loved the bowler’s aggression. “Naseem Shah is a very young bowler but bowled so well, and showed so much aggression,” Babar concluded his presser.
Pakistan Naseem shah having cramps he was screaming in pain but he still completed his last over even after getting injured.
