Big Relief! LPG Gas Cylinder Becomes Cheaper After Cut By Rs 198 – Know Latest Rates Here

LPG Cylinder rate is revised monthly for all the states and union territories in India. The prices of cooking gas cylinders were reduced on Friday, July 1. The rates of Indane gas cylinders declined by ₹198 in the national capital Delhi on July 1.

This is the second consecutive reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a commercial LPG cylinder was cut by Rs 135, on June 1.

This reduction in price is only valid for commercial ones, and not the domestic LPG cylinders.

Earlier, On May 1, the price of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 102.50, to Rs 2355.50.

In April and March also, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG have been increased by Rs 250 and Rs 105 per cylinder.

The cut in the prices of the commercial cylinders has come as a big relief for consumers who are facing the brunt of sky-rocketing inflation rates.

This decision will provide some relief especially to restaurants, eateries, tea stalls and others which constitute the largest user segment of the 19 kg cylinders.

The decision to trim down the prices of commercial LPG cylinders is a welcome move for commoners who are facing the brunt of rising food prices.

With the latest reduction, a 19-kg commercial Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder in Delhi will now cost Rs 2,021.

Prior to the reduction in prices, the commercial LPG cylinder was priced at Rs 2,219.

Consumers of domestic LPG cylinders, on the other hand, were hit twice in May. The price of domestic cylinders was hiked by Rs 50 per liter for the first time on May 7. On May 19, the price of domestic LPG cylinders had gone up.
