The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2022, informed Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has now released the list of toppers of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-PG) exam. The complete list of NEET PG toppers 2022 has been released along with results at the official website. The list includes the names, All India Rank (AIR) and marks secured by the candidates. This year, Dr Shagun Batra has secured rank 1, followed by Dr Joseph and Dr Harshita. They can check their marks through the official site. The official NBE notice reads, ” The merit position for All India 50% quota seats shall be declared separately. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.”
NEET PG Scorecard 2022
The NBE will be releasing the NEET PG scorecard 2022 after June 8, 2022. The qualified candidates can download their scorecards at nbe.edu.in. The NEET PG 2022 scorecard will contain the rank and other details.

What After Declaration of NEET PG Result 2022?
The candidates who have qualified the postgraduate medical entrance examination will now be participating in the various rounds of counselling that will be held for All India Quota seats, state medical and dental colleges, Central and Deemed Universities, etc. To participate in the NEET PG counselling 2022 medical graduates will have to fulfill the eligibility and domicile requirements as per their preference of college and course.

STEPS TO CHECK NEET PG RESULT 2022
Candidates will have to use their login credentials to enter NEET PG portal and download NEET PG result 2022. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the results:
- Step 1: Visit the official NBE website
- Step 2: Click on the link for “NEET PG 2022 Result”
- Step 3: Enter the login credentials to access the portal
- Step 4: The score and qualifying status will be displayed
- Step 5: Candidates should download the scorecard and take a printout of the same for future reference

NEET PG Result 2022: The Types
NBE releases two types of NEET PG result 2022 for providing admission to PG courses at medical colleges across the country. The medical colleges use scores of NEET PG 2022 for allocating different categories of seats to candidates.
The two types of results of NEET PG 2022 have been explained below:
NEET PG 2022 result for 50% AIQ seats
This category of NEET PG results is for admission to 50 % All India Quota Seats. NBE releases the result in PDF format. The counselling for these seats is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. Admission to these seats is provided on the basis of AIQ rank, marks obtained, choices filled, reservation criteria, and availability of seats. The cut off for admission to AIQ 50% seats is the same as the minimum qualifying percentile.
NEET PG 2022 result for State quota seats
This type of result is for admission to State quota seats. The respective State authorities conduct counselling for admission to the PG courses in the state quota category. No state is allowed to conduct any other exam for allocating MD/MS/PG diploma seats.

How to download NEET PG scorecard 2022
- Click on the ‘download NEET PG 2022 scorecard’ link after availability
- Login using credentials -user ID and password
- The NEET PG scorecard will be displayed on the screen
- Verify the details and download the scorecard of NEET PG 2022
- Take at least three to four printouts of NEET PG score card for future references

NEET PG 2022 cutoff
For qualifying the NEET PG 2022 exam, candidates need to score the minimum cutoff percentile set by NBE. Only candidates who have qualified for the cutoff in the NEET PG result will be considered for further admission process. NEET PG cut off 2022 varies for respective categories – General, SC, ST, OC, PwD.
NEET PG Cut Off for General candidates is 50% (40% for ST/ SC/ OBC/ Reserved PWD candidates). For candidates of UR-PWD category, the cut off marks are 45%.
NEET PG 2022 Counselling
After the declaration of NEET PG results, the counselling schedule and procedure will be released on the website. The registration for PG counselling that will be conducted by the designated counselling authority will be as per the details submitted by candidates during application process.
The eligibility and documents of the candidate will be verified for admission procedure. Students must report with their all documents to get seats in the allotted colleges
Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the scorecard of NEET PG 2022. If there is any discrepancy in the details printed on the scorecard, he/she must contact the NBE authorities immediately and get it rectified. If a candidate fails to get the errors rectified on the NEET PG result 2022, he/she may lose the chance to attend the counselling even if he/she qualifies for the examination. The details should match those printed on the documents of the candidates and his/her photo ID proof.
